There are regional rocks
Between us
Rocks so numerous
They can border
the Amazon
Rocks so huge
They can fill
the Demerara
Rocks which spills of
forgiven debts
can't coverSilent Rocks
Which can go
unnoticed
Forever
There are regional rocks
Between us
Rocks that lament
Our energy bounty
Rocks which rejoice
When refineries are empty
There are Rocks of plenty
and rocks of envy
Rocks which still say
Dem Trini
But we
must break these rocks
And lay our flags on top
For on land much oil
Lays dormant
In rocky regions
