SHARK BAIT

The scent of blood
Attracts the Sharks
And Foolish Spear Fishers
Cause  attacks
They shoot the prey
In open waters
For selfish reasons
Plunder and slaughter

We have a gas economy
That booms and blooms
To set us free
But   allowances
disproportionates
Our fair shares
Of the gas profits

Now Spear Fishers
Sit and debate
With eyes cast down
They taunt and hate
As if clueless
About that date
They ratified poor deals
With bait

Of comparative low Royalties
Which bleeds of
our economy
Till all our profits
these Sharks take
While a mere .01%
is the state’s stake

To add to this
we lose money
By Weighted Average Price
on LNG
And Transfer Prices
From Train to Train
Which gives these
devious Sharks
Much gains

A sure case of
bad taxonomy
Has swindled
this economy
So as  this deadpool
comes to light
Let's classify
these organisms right

Bold Fishers
must not sit and hate
Trying to pose off
 as Shark Bait
