when gas ignites
to awaken our fears
and create new plights
When Economy's Ego
boast of conquest
in markets where Shale
Now drives sure threats?
What hope is there
When oil prices boom
So that Shale fracking
Can resume?
Should, our greatest
market fail
Or be overtaken
By the Source rock Shale
Oh,what hope is there?
