Not sacrifice
Good men
gave their lives
Two weeks in

on a platform
Between fears
and waves
Where breadlines
Can ignite quick
fiery graves
To flames

Rig workers
Give their lives
With limited
communication
And threats of
pirate attacks
When oil
money flows
These will not
retract
To fear,
out there
Nor flames,
in here
At FCCU
where 1 died and
17 were injured
In 91 not 2
Nor on berth #5
In 1985
Where 14 good workers
Lost their lives
To flames!
Not sacrifice
Flaming fires
of greed
Flaming corruption
not need
Hidden secrets
Which flare
the respect
of good men
out here
Who gave their lives
In the name
of sacrifice
While the flames
of greed
Still burns
in the deeds
Of some
Yet unknown
